Live-Looping
“Highly recommended. Tim’s work is intriguing, inspiring, and fascinating.” -Mouth Off Podcast
"A Mysterious Wonder!"
-Meg, The Lyric, Fort Collins, COA nomadic bard for the post-apocalyptic wasteland we currently inhabit, musical storyteller Mister Tim combines organic vocal sounds with cyborg technology to sing tales of modern love, post-modern angst, end-of-the-world dance parties, ghosts that haunt us, and murderous pastries.
As "the Funky Introvert" Mister Tim live-loops his voice & beatboxing to create original songs that combine an indie-rock pulse with elements of jazz, americana, choral music, steampunk, EDM, and childhood memories.
Mister Tim has performed his solo vocal live-looping show around the world and was featured at the Montreal One-Man Band Festival and the Perth International Arts Festival. A showcase of vocal skill, beatboxing, and technical production, and featuring his original songs and creative covers, Mister Tim's looping performances are a modern blend of music and technology.
"Mister Tim was the surprise act at FoCoMX...the most talked about performer at the festival."
-Greta Cornett, Music Director, Fort Collins Music ExperimentLive-looping is the art of layering a single performer's instrument to create the sound of a full ensemble. Mister Tim records his voice - singing, harmonizing, beatboxing, mimicing instruments - live on stage, creating amazing original songs and unique renditions of cover songs. An amazing visual spectacle (how is that one guy making all that sound?) and satisfying artistic experience for music fans.
Mister Tim has a full album of his original songs, "The Funky Introvert", and regularly releases new original songs online and original videos on his youtube channel. He maintains a busy schedule of looping performances, including public concerts and school workshops.

"Freaking Amazing!
When are you coming back?"
-Pikes Peak Brewing Company, Monument, CO“Mister Tim brings a fresh approach to the single-man-band world with his new record 'The Funky Introvert'. Overdubbing, looping, beatboxing, and was that a bit of comedy? His music is not hard to remember because there simply isn’t anything else like it in Denver. He backs up his own lead vocals. He solos over his own rhythms. The songs almost have the feel of some crazy, off the wall type of spoken word, begging to be paid closer attention, hinting that you may have missed some hidden meaning or symbolism. Definitely worth checking out.”
-Colorado Music Buzz Magazine“You've been a highlight of our event two years in a row. The kids can't stop talking about you.”
-Governor's Honors Academy, Cedar City, UT“Mister Tim is taking beatboxing and a cappella performance to the next technological level. It’s just amazing what he can do in a live performance! Every sound, instrument, note and word comes from his voice.”
-Starfest (Denver, CO SciFi/Fantasy Convention)"Mister Tim had the whole audience in stitches. He’s a talented singer, but he really wowed us with all the things he can do with his voice and his pedals and all this other technology. It was unforgettable."
-Brody McDonald, Director of Choirs, Kettering Fairmont High School, Kettering, OH"[Mister Tim's] vocal instrumentation and comic interludes have gained a nationwide following."
-Kettering-Oakwood Times"Mister Tim possesses a rare combination of uncanny talent, first-class entertainment value, and professionalism. He added a much needed touch of class to my event. Mister Tim's unique talents appeal to everyone, regardless of age or musical taste."
-Stephen Ross, Choir Director Skyline High School, Longmont, CO“[Mister Tim] sings in over a dozen different musical groups, but it is in his solo ‘live-looping’ show that he gets to show off the breadth and depth of his writing and performing skill.”
--DowntownBoulder.com “Today’s response has been overwhelming… people love you!”
-Lisa, Logan Garden Market, Logan, UT“Having just seen Mister Tim work his Magic… well, suffice to say, if you don’t want to be floored, amazed, impressed, and inspired, then stay away.”
