Welcome to this lovely place for us to discuss the ins and outs of being in a ‘group’ – my experience is primarily with a cappella groups, but I’ve sung/played with rock bands, jazz bands, symphonic bands, orchestras, choirs, drum groups, etc.

I’ll specifically be posting thoughts on topics that come up when I work with groups – most of them college a cappella groups – that apply to lots of young-ish music groups. Publicity? Getting gigs? Viral marketing? All that kind of stuff.
