April 2009 – King4, Wonder Voice, and moosebutter all invited to audition for America’s Got Talent… contractually not allowed to reveal results.

April 18 2009 – Wonder Voice competes in the Las Vegas Hidden Talent Show at Sunset Station casino.

April 4 2009 – THROAT and the King4 compete at the Los Angeles Harmony Sweepstakes (LA, CA).  King4 places 3rd.  Mister Tim wins Best Original Song award for “Laa Dee Dah” sung by THROAT.

March 21 2009 – Mouth Beats wins!  Mister Tim’s original all-vocal percussion ensemble wins First Place and outstanding Stage Presentation at the Rocky Mountain Harmony Sweepstakes (Denver, CO).  Matt Murphy of Mouth Beats wins the Deke Sharon award for Best Original Arrangement award for “Stronger Bad.”  Mister Tim wins the Jeffery Harris Award for Best Original Song for “Street Beat #2.”  Wonder Voice, Mister Tim’s mainstream a cappella cover band, also competes, and Kai Robinson wins the Jerry Lawson award for Best Soloist for “I Will Survive”.

March 14 2009 - Plumbers of Rome (Mister Tim’s odd a cappella comedy trio) win second place and the Audience Favorite Award at the Bay Area Harmony Sweepstakes (San Francisco, CA)

Barbary Coast Christmas Card goes Viral! Dec 27, 2008 A corporate e-card, with music (arrangement, recording, all vocals) by Mister Tim and video by Corey Vidal, has hit the internet, and it’s a big hit!  With viewers as far away as China, the e-card, commissioned by San Francisco consulting company Barbary Coast as an environmentally-friendly way to wish their clients happy holidays, has been viewed over 100,000 since Barbary Coast posted it just a few days before Christmas.  Watch the video here.

People’s Choice Award!  Dec. 17, 2008  - American Television Network CBS has nominated “Star Wars – An A Cappella Tribute to John Williams” for a prestigious People’s Choice Award, category “Favorite User Generated Content.”  See the nominees, and vote until January 7th, here.

“Star Wars” video by moosebutter passes 100,000 YouTube views – Dec. 15, 2008 – Comedy a cappella quartet moosebutter, featuring Mister Tim, posted a response to Corey Vidal’s wildly successful YouTube video “Star Wars – an A Cappella Tribute to John Williams.”  moosebutter’s video shows the current cast of moosebutter performing the song live in the film studio for cameras.  See the video here.

“Star Wars” passes 3 million YouTube views! – Dec 12, 2008 – “John Williams is the Man,” aka “Star Wars – An A Cappella Tribute to John Williams,” has passed 3 million views in less than one month from posting.  The viral sensation features a video performance by Corey Vidal of Canada, lip-syncing to a 2002 recording of “Star Wars” by a cappella comedy quartet moosebutter.  See the video here.

Rocky Mountain Harmony Sweepstakes presents Mister Tim with the A Cappella Impact Award – March 23, 2008 Denver, CO - Though he recently relocated to Las Vegas, Mister Tim returned to Denver to perform at the annual Rocky Mountain Harmony Sweepstakes.  While there, the Sweepstakes organizers, including the board of the Colorado Vocal Jazz Society, presented Mister Tim with the A Cappella Impact Award, recognizing distinctive contribution to the a cappella community.  Mister Tim was active in the Colorado a cappella community from before the time he relocated there in 2004.  Mister Tim performed at the Harmony Sweepstakes each year from 2004-2008, was on the board of directors of the Colorado Vocal Jazz Society, worked with area schools and groups to further contemporary vocal education, all while studying for a Master’s degree and teaching choir at a private school in nearby Boulder.  Notable Harmony Sweepstakes accomplishments include Outstanding Stage Presentation (Plumbers of Rome) 2006, 2nd place and Best Original Song (Vocality) 2007, and Audience Favorite and Outstanding Stage Presentation (Plumbers of Rome) 2008.  Mister Tim also holds the distinction of being the only person to have three groups to perform at a Harmony Sweepstakes Regional (2008, Vocality, Plumbers of Rome, and Placental Armageddon).

Toxic Audio – December 27, 2007 - Mister Tim joins the Las Vegas cast of the Drama Desk Award-winning, off-Broadway smash hit Toxic Audio.  Mister Tim will relocate with his family to Las Vegas, where he will perform daily in the V Theater, Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.
